This coffee is grown on the eastern slopes of Mount Elgon on the border with Kenya. The volcanic soils on Mt. Elgon give the coffee a unique taste and richness in the body.

 

Uganda grows mostly Robusta coffee and is one of the world’s top producers as this coffee species is indigenous to Uganda. However, Arabica coffee was introduced in the 1900s
